We believe in giving support to selected social initiatives both locally and globally, where our help can make a difference. We aim to be environmentally friendly in our way of doing business.
Environment: Ikano is committed to developing environmentally friendly policies. We continually aim to reduce our energy consumption and our environmental initiative includes such activities as using recycled paper in our offices, recycling our waste and installing filtered water supplies. We also provide changing and storage facilities for those wishing to cycle to work.
Community: Ikano is committed to supporting the community in which it operates. We have formed links with a local primary school where activities will include helping children to read, running after school clubs and sponsoring Christmas parties. All employees have the opportunity to take part in a volunteering initiative each year. We also support local charities such as Rainbow Childrens Hospice and Broadway arts and media centre along with the Robin Hood Half Marathon, Mini Marathon and Schools challenge.
Customer: We have a comprehensive Treating Customers Fairly programme which aims to make sure our products, services and communication are fair and appropriate to our customers. Feedback is sought from customers through surveys and telephone contact and any issues are collated and addressed. We also adhere to all relevant industry codes including that of our industry body, the FLA.
People: Listening to our employees is a strong part of our culture and our co-workers have many opportunities to express their views on life at Ikano: employee surveys, coffee sessions with senior management and a Co-worker Consultation Forum.
